Joy doesn’t require perfect balance
When we show up, we bring our whole selves. Whatever’s happening at home is reflected at work, and vice versa. The truth is, sometimes work needs you more and at other times your family has to come first. Sometimes you need time for yourself, and sometimes connecting with others takes priority. We each have different needs at different times and that doesn’t mean we’re unbalanced, it just means we’re human.
